The Summer Wind. Poesia Canción (Viento de Verano a Finales de Agosto).

The summer wind came blowin' in from across the sea
it lingered there, to touch your hair and walk with me
all summer long we sang a song and then we strolled that golden sand
two sweethearts and the summer wind

Like painted kites, those days and nights they went flyin' by
the world was new beneath a blue umbrella sky
then softer than a piper man, one day it called to you
i lost you, i lost you to the summer wind

The autumn wind, and the winter winds they have come and gone
and still the days, those lonely days, they go on and on
and guess who sighs his lullabies through nights that never end
my fickle friend, the summer wind
the summer wind
warm summer wind
the summer wind

                                      El viento del verano entró soplando al cruzar el mar
Allí se detuvo  para acariciar tu pelo  y caminar conmigo.
Durante todo el verano cantamos una canción
Y luego recorrimos esa arena dorada
Dos enamorados  y el viento de verano.

Como cometas pintadas, esos días y noches pasaron volando.
El mundo era nuevo bajo el paraguas azul del cielo
 Entonces, más suave que un flautista, te llamó un día 
 Te perdí, te perdí  en el viento de verano

El viento de otoño  y los vientos del invierno, vinieron  y se fueron.
Y aún los días,  esos días solitarios, vienen y van
Y adivina quien suspira sus canciones en las noches interminables:
Mi voluble  amigo, el viento de verano.
El viento de verano ...
El cálido viento de verano ...
 El viento de verano
